Evaluation of the Saxon Regulatory Control Council Act
The Saxon Regulatory Control Council (SächsNKR) is an external and independent body that supports the Saxon State Government in implementing measures to reduce bureaucracy and improve regulatory quality. Pursuant to Section 7 of the Saxon Regulatory Control Council Act (SächsNKRG), the Saxon State Government is required, as part of an evaluation, to review the effectiveness of the Regulatory Control Council 18 months before the Act is scheduled to expire. The Saxon State Ministry of Justice has commissioned the National Research Institute for Public Administration (NIPAG) to design and carry out the evaluation. Both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis methods are used to assess the effectiveness of the Regulatory Control Council. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of March 2026.
