New project “Evaluation of the Saxon Regulatory Control Council Act“ launched
In September 2025, the project commissioned by the Saxon State Ministry of Justice to evaluate the Saxon Regulatory Control Council Act was launched. By the end of March 2026, the National Institute for Public Administration Germany (NIPAG) will examine the effectiveness of the Saxon Regulatory Control Council’s work using qualitative and quantitative methods.
In September 2025, the project commissioned by the Saxon State Ministry of Justice to evaluate the Saxon Regulatory Control Council Act was launched. The Saxon Regulatory Control Council (SächsNKR) is an external and independent body that is intended to support the Saxon State Government in implementing measures to reduce bureaucracy and improve legislation. By the end of March 2026, the National Institute of Public Administration Germany (NIPAG) will examine the effectiveness of the Saxon Regulatory Control Council’s work using qualitative and quantitative methods. Among other things, a survey of the Saxon state ministries as well as interviews with the members of the Saxon Regulatory Control Council are planned.
