InGFA: The Institute

The Institute for Regulatory Impact Assessment and Evaluation (InGFA) is the first scientific and therefore independent institution for the assessment and evaluation of regulatory impacts. In this capacity, the Institute benefits from the extensive experience already gained in this field at the Speyer location. After all, impact assessment was 'invented' in Speyer by Prof. Dr Carl Böhret, who continues to support the InGFA team in an advisory capacity.

Since its inception, the methodology of Regulatory Impact Assessment has been continuously refined and developed on the basis of numerous major projects. From this high level, we ensure our methodological knowledge is always up to date. Furthermore, our focus on methodological expertise enables us to carry out regulatory impact assessments and evaluations in a wide range of areas. InGFA thus guarantees an optimal combination of instruments for each project.
