Evaluation of the Rhineland-Palatinate Police and Regulatory Authorities Act (POG) (Phase 1)
On 26 January 2011, the state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate passed an amendment to the Police and Regulatory Authorities Act (POG). The aim of the amendment is to create a modern and efficient POG in order to continue to guarantee the safety of the general public. Sec. 100 of the POG contains a new evaluation requirement, according to which the state government must report to the state parliament on the effectiveness of certain measures requiring intensive intervention. The Ministry of the Interior, Sport and Infrastructure of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate commissioned the NIPAG to carry out the evaluation.
