The NIPAG welcomes high-ranking delegation from Mongolia
On 27 November 2025, the NIPAG welcomed a high-ranking Mongolian delegation consisting of members of parliament, leading scientists and government representatives to Speyer. The meeting, which was organised by the Hanns Seidel Foundation, focused on the exchange of information on regulatory impact assessment.

The meeting, which was organised by the Hanns Seidel Foundation, focused on the exchange of information on regulatory impact assessment.
Prof. Dr. Jan Ziekow (Director of the NIPAG) and Dr. Silke I. Keil (Managing Director of the NIPAG) opened the event and emphasised the importance of international cooperation.
Several topics were discussed in depth during the meeting. Of particular note was the exchange on methods of prospective and retrospective regulatory impact assessment, which the NIPAG will support with its expertise in order to integrate them into Mongolian legislation.
For this reason, Daniel Felix Handermann (NIPAG) and Cornelia Strauß (NIPAG) gave the delegation an insight into their current research projects on regulatory impact assessment. The Mongolian guests reported on their experiences and challenges in this context.
It was agreed to continue organising regular meetings and workshops in order to further expand and deepen cooperation.
