Retrospective: Current grouping issues
Description and content of the event
The topic of the event was pay-scale grouping, i.e. determining the pay grade in the public sector. The current regulations on grouping are not that old, but much has been taken over from previous collective agreements - in particular the principles of grouping and many job characteristics. Nevertheless, classification disputes are still regularly the subject of case law. The event addressed a number of current legal issues and provided plenty of scope for discussion.
The aim of the event was not only to shed light on current legal issues. It was also to bring together different perspectives.
