Launch of the “Administrative Knowledge Management” project
How can knowledge be managed in public administration in such a way that it remains available in the long term and really supports employees in their day-to-day work? This is the question addressed by our new research project.
How can knowledge be managed in public administration in such a way that it remains available in the long term and really supports employees in their day-to-day work? This is the question addressed by this new research project. It is assisting the Berlin Senate Department for the Interior and Sport in thoroughly evaluating its knowledge management and developing it further on the basis of the findings.
The focus is on analyzing existing knowledge transfer processes, the perspectives of the employees involved, and the question of how knowledge management can be anchored in the long term. Qualitative surveys, observations, and document-based analyses are used to gain reliable insights and develop practical further developments. The project strengthens the knowledge base of the administration and at the same time provides impetus for modern, resilient organizational structures.
