Evaluation of the Freedom of Information Act of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate (LIFG RP)

The Freedom of Information Act of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate (Landesinformationsfreiheitsgesetz Rheinland-Pfalz - LIFG RP) came into force on 1 February 2009. Section 15 of the LIFG stipulates that the state government, in collaboration with local umbrella organisations, is to evaluate the effects of the law and present a report to the state parliament after a period of three years. The evaluation will examine the objectives pursued by the Act, as well as its organisational, personnel and financial effects.
