Development of a "youth check" for the systematic representation of the effects of federal measures on young people

In the coalition agreement of the 18th legislative term, the CDU, CSU and SPD agreed on taking into account the interests of young people (between 12 and 27 years) when developing federal measures. Therefore, a "Youth Check" was developed and tested by InGFA in 2016 and 2017. The "Youth Check" helps to systematically identify and present the consequences of federal measures on young people.

The Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth has introduced the regulatory impact assessment tool in August 2017. Since then, the Competence Center Youth-Check is in charge to assess the impact of drafts of the federal government on young people. For further information click here.
