The Institute for Regulatory Impact Assessment and Evaluation (InGFA) is the first academic and thus independent institute for regulatory impact assessment and evaluation. In pursuing its function, the institute benefits from the extensive experience in this area already available in Speyer; moreover, regulatory impact assessment was "invented" by Dr Carl Böhret, who continues to support the InGFA team in an advisory capacity.
In the period following its inception, the methodology of regulatory impact assessment was continuously refined and redeveloped on the basis of numerous large projects. Operating at this high standard, we ensure that our methodological knowledge is consistently kept up to date. Furthermore, concentration on methodological competence enables the application of regulatory impact assessments and evaluations in many fields. In this way, the InGFA ensures the optimum combination of instruments for each project.
