The interdisciplinary and decentral research group consists of six disciplinary projects and two central projects (>>projects) and does research on the following subject: "International Competitiveness and Innovative Capacity of Universities and Research Organisations - New Forms of Governance".

Research Conference "The Changing Governance of Research"
From 11 to 12 March 2010, the Research Conference The Changing Governance of Research took place at the Universität Frankfurt. At the Conference, the members of the Research Group "Governance of Research" discussed the results of their six years long research period. The topics were broadened by the contributions of international and well-known scientists. A volume with the results of the Conference will be published at Springer.
