About the Public Service Research Centre (FÖD)
The Public Service Research Centre is an initially explorative and conceptual research project, based at the FÖV, within the framework of which research requirements for and about public service are to be uncovered, and research intentions formulated and handled on an interdisciplinary basis.
Currently there are three subprojects:
- The public service labour market
- Assessment of the economic suitability of test criteria, stemming from the case law of the German Constitutional Court, which were concerned with the remuneration of civil servants
- The impact of EU legislation and the European Convention on Human Rights (EHRC) on public service in Germany
